With the defeat of the characters to rescue Tindale, the Adventurers were killed. Since the DM suggested we discuss the next batch to try to balance a party...

I'm considering a Halfling Rogue this time around.

Actually, I have a multiclass concept that is kind of grabbing me....but it would require DM approval. Since Sorcerers 'sorta happen' to anyone rather than requiring study, I am tempted to have a young barbosian (either human or half elf) who discovers from the wise women of his tribe that he is about to go mad (A bad translation of suddenly gaining weird skills like Spell craft for no apparent reason as well as spells). Rather than risk his people, he leaves the tribe and comes to CF.

He would start out as a 1st level barbarian, but then multi to a sorcerer as soon as he had enough exp.

It's a concept anyways.
What do you think?

Sounds like a candidate for the Dragon Disciple Prestige Class.

My Halfling will probably dual to Bard as well for her a Prestige Class requirement.

As far as pulling characters from the archives, I was given the thumb's up to use a third-level paladin from a tabletop game we tried awhile back that didn't make it through all the scheduling hassles. I don't know if any of my other characters would be suitable so I won't offer them at this time.

If the consensus is for entirely new characters I will lean towards a halfling as well, likely a druid.

Keeping my idea under my hat until I do more research, but I see no reason that a 3rd level can't join with a group of 1st levels, it doesn't take too long for us to progress at those levels.

I would like to know what happens to Marren....I would also like the chance to pull him later to play with the next group, if possible. Here is an idea what about a party/tribe of barbarians?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Okay, that might be a little boring after awhile, but what about a party of half-orcs?

True, two level's difference doesn't sound too bad. The everyone at first idea was just that, an idea.
Of course, we COULD beg the DM to let us start out new characters at second or third level wheedle wheedle as a reward for our truly awesome roleplaying on the "Night Of Doom!" Since our old adventurers characters are too dead or in hell to apprecicate any exp

I don't think an all half orc party would fly with all the players.

This is just my opinion but, though I do have CF stock to draw from, I think it might be fairer (More or less, and not saying folks didn't earn their levels) all around if we each started with 1st level new guys.

That said, I do have characters I could whisk out of semi retirement if others disagree.

As for where my mind is going with new character ideas:

I have yet to play an elf of any sort or class. So there's an idea.
(Heck, we could do an all elf party and really blow the DM's mind)

I was considering either a rogue or sorcerer, haven't done those with this group...but I'm flexible.

Whatever I do, I may try to multiclass with this one. Normally I prefer single classing and going up up up in my area of expertise but, what the heck, it might be a change.

I'm curious what others are thinking of playing, naturally.
