Game Synopsis 7/22/5

Another First for the Caer Falken Inn: We played two sets of characters in the same night.

While Allie, Kel, Lirinor, Thaylias, Shanti, and the absentee Gralla, doled out the magical hoard items, Clementine, Delnarith, Finley, Lyra, Rygar sought to rescue the baron.

The latter got more than they bargained for, realizing this was indeed a mission to rescue two barons. We left that party at the entryway to the baron's audience hall, trying to figure out the best way to take out the two guards without alerting those inside. Provided a solution to this enigma can be found, the party should complete this adventure in just one more session. The fact that they all went up to level 4 will no doubt aid them in fighting the "baron", the wizard, and however many guards happen to be with them.

As for the treasure-splitting group, it should be known that all of the characters, in time, will realize what their items do. This is a strange island and these items just as strange, as they seem to impart knowledge of themselves to the party characters. Feel free to look up any of the items you got personally, but please don't go investigating other people's stuff. That's not quite cricket.

Gralla received a Staff of Life and a Tome of Understanding +1

Lirinor got the Staff of Power

Shanti got a Ring of Blinking and Staff of Frost

Allie got a +1 mighty composite shortbow +1 and a Ring of Water Walking

Kel took the +4 Longbow of Speed and the Lantern of Revealing

Thaylias got +5 Breastplate of Ghost Touch

Gems and jewelry have not been distributed and has been keep on the litter along with the dragon's head.

No xp was awarded to this group

Next week, Mark will be unable to play, leaving the following options:

1) Play the newbies without Finley, and hope that Rahne brings in a newbie (and I have a plan hatching for that!)

2) Play the Ring Quest without Thaylias.

3) Play the super high level characters (although they are not really so far ahead of the others anymore)
