HAppy Birthday John.

The first time I saw John, I was the age he is now and now I'm 40!

By the way, has anybody else noticed that the Miss Saigon message board is showing John highlighted in green which apparently means that a cast member is leaving soon. I am going to try to make contact and find out if this is true.

PS I have some photos of John at the Stage Door of CATS and also Taboo. I even have one of him hugging my twin daughters when they were little. Would anybody be interested in seeing these?

Found a new report on the main Miss Saigon-board:

"Ramin had fantastic chemisty with Ima, their Sun & Moon was the sweetest I've ever seen or heard bar none, I actually forgave the terrible staging when they performed that number. He also had great chemistry with John, which isn't something I usually comment on.
John Partridge I had no idea whether I would like as I generally prefer John to be black, it just seems to work better, however I did know his voice and acting from other shows and knew how good he was. He plays John very different from any others I've seen and I think that will put some people off. He plays the part very unlikeable, leering and obnoxious which makes it hard to warm to him in act 2, although he does just get away with it. But he has such charisma and presence on stage and he acts it so well I did like him a lot. He has an absolute phenomenal voice and his Bui Doi can definitely hold it's own against Hugh's. I adored Hugh but you really can't compare the two as they play it so differently, I have to say I loved John also, far more than I expected to." (Thanks to Claire Louise)

yes, i'd like to see the pictures, too. that's too funny debra, i'm 40 too & i first met john when i was the age he is now, too. you must have seen him in germany??
