My question!

I won a vacation package last year that pays
for 2 days and nights at a hotel at certain
destinations.......and we have been trying
to decide where to go...

SO my question is...how close are you to
Williamsburg Virginia? I think that is one
of the destinations we can choose....and
I really dont want to go to Washington DC!

I will have to check the deal out again...
and make sure it is WIlliamsburg...but the
boys really want to go check it out! Have
you ever been there?

i believe williamsburg is about 4 1/2 hours away from me, mrs g.... s* and yep, i've been there a few times... you'd have a great time i'd say... you could do Busch Gardens, i'll bet that's why your boys wanna go there... *L*... Colonial Williamsburg is neat to check out, you'd probably like that as well.... there's a lot more than rides at the park, there are all sorts of shops and places to eat, etc... i haven't been since i was younger, but i had a blast everytime i went...i've never been to DC, but it sounds kinda hectic to me... lol.

I would love to go back to DC...my senior trip
was a one day visit and we didnt get to see much..
and there are a ton of museums I would like to see....
but a single woman with 2 boys....trying to find
my way around on my own....nope...not going to
happen *L*

We are definitely thinking Williamsburg...just
not sure when yet...maybe in June....the boys
have discussed Busch gardens....but Mom is trying
to avoid that *L* They do love visiting museums
and we love going to the Gettysburg battlefields
so I think they would enjoy Williamsburg!

ohhhhh, yeah... there's LOTS of stuff to do there, and no end to the historical stuff you can go see... i think you'd have a good time... [img]smile.gif[/img]

I know one thing Hubby wants to do one of these days is take a trip back to D.C. and to Gettysburg. I loved the whole Civil War era thing so I think it would be kind of interesting to actually see where it all happened.

let me know! We have been there countless times
and still have not seen everything!

I want to go camping there and walk the battlefields
at night...to see ghosts! The lil men are not
so wild on that idea though *L*
