This is gonna be one of those threads that is either really busy, or tanks because no one takes it seriously... *L*

I have heard rumors that there are some people around here with tremendous talent and ability.. whether it be literary or artistic...

please feel free to post ANY poetry, writings of any kind, or artwork that you would like to share with everyone else...

the fish... i'm not too sure yet..

Paige!!! those are awesome! you are really really good...! [img]smile.gif[/img] (i don't hate you for it though *G* everyone has a certain amount of artistic ability, (i think? lol) mine is musical in nature, which makes it sorta hard to display here...) though that doesn't suprise me, considering YOU are one of the people that i heard had a great deal of artistic ability in the first place... [img]wink.gif[/img] Post whatever you want, whenever you want. you have been the brave soul that broke the ice, so hopefully now some others will come and follow along behind you.... i play the piano, also.. *L
i've sang with various bands
and i'd like to learn to play the guitar, i think..
there's loads of musicians in my family, so it's just one of those things that comes naturally to me...

*L*... i suppose my musical experience is a little different... i would LOVE to be able to sing... i can't, for shit... not at all... haha... BUT... at least i KNOW i can't carry a tune... i suck at singing, but i'm not tone deaf as well, thank GOD!!!! lol. My musical experience was classical music... and some jazz... clarinet was my instrument, in classical... but i was known to play both tenor and baritone sax in jazz, the bells when needed at parades and marching festivals, the piano down in the pit during drama events, trumpet just because i wanted to learn how... flute... hey, i had 4 classes during my senior year... i got BORED, lol. out of 4 classes, 3 of them were musically related... *L*.... then i spent most of the rest of the day in the practice room, playing SOMETHING... it's a shame, the way i let my talent go to waste... [img]frown.gif[/img] i earned a full scholarship to musical program at our biggest university... and ended up turning it down because of burn out... it was a nice hobby... but after a while, it just gets old... *shrugs*.... now IF i COULD sing, i would be out on the road!!! *L*

very pretty.... *vbs*.... i only have one tattoo... and it needs redone... *L*... the colors on it were never very bright... they have the coolest new inks now that are realllllly really intense... i was gonna have it done fairly soon, but i'm thinking of waiting til closer to summer now... no reason to hurry i suppose, it's not like it gets seen very much in the winter... *L*... it's a sunflower, above my ankle.... eventually, i'd like to have something like what you have around your ankle... the vines? and some leaves added underneath it... right now it is just a fully open sunflower... it was part of a much larger tat... so it ended up looking sort of unfinished.... i really like yours, though.... i wish i was talented at drawing, dammit... i'm jealous, you guys, i can't even draw a stick-man.... lolol... [img]confused.gif[/img]

I just discovered this thread, I like to write, I write short stories, poems, and songs. I played bass guitar in about 45 bands since 1972 (punk, lounge, country, metal, top 40, original pop/rock, etc)

I also take a lot of digital photos, especially of rural scenes.

I don't feel like I'm real good at it, but I have been painting in acrylics for the past coupla years.
