    Some notices about the forum

I must admit that I miss the old K&G's board. Maybe because this board, was my first contact with catfights in internet (I am user just 2 years). Maybe because many post were about my beloved Charlize Theron? I don?t know what happened but I really miss all them and especially the discussion with the different opinions? FCBA Message Board has the same style, being amazing job, but it is not my best. It is a perfect job but the female boxing is not my number 1. Maybe because I don?t like the brutalizing of the women with the hammering of punches? (I don?t insult of course the funs of it, just my aesthetic). Basically I prefer the catfights and the woman amateur style of wrestling?
In the old page I had started posting some polls of my beloved actress (and woman?). So I decide to continue these, here ? I make and some stories about them and I will edit with the polls. I will try to meet the results and I haven?t problem if my beloved Charlize defeated (many times I prefer these stories?). As you can see my English is not my native language and after so many years I didn?t use it, I have forgotten many things. But I will try for the best and I hope that the friends here will understand them. And really I will appreciate your critic and your comments or preferences. The main point of the stories will be the fighting and the sexual dominating. My love about fantasizing this kind of celebrity fights doesn?t mean that I don?t respect the stars. I really admire them and all the poll-stories will be for my beloved women.
I hope all the members help with their participation to make this page more energetic. And I really like to see your comments?
Btw for the members who I don?t have communication I am the barbosa of Free Catfight Forums & Chatroom?
Kim & Ginny thanks for the forum, I really love it?

    Re: about the forum

Thank you for your kind words about the forum.

Frankly, we admit we have been disappointed by the lack of "action" on this board. Whether its because it requires someone to register before they can post - or other reasons - we don't know. And since someone would have to register to post an explanation, or to vote, we're not sure what to do.

HOW ABOUT THIS! We ask ANYONE with a comment, suggestion or criticism to E-MAIL us at:
    [email protected]
with your ideas about how to improve the forum; why you aren't posting; what you'd like to see added/subtracted; etc.

And if someone knows of a FREE board (with no membership requirement) that we could switch to, we'd like to know. Several of the older boards that used to be free with no requirements have switched to membership - probably to mine email addys, etc., they can sell(?)

We've been frustrated by the lack of posts here...and maybe some of that is OUR fault for not doing more(?)

Let us know what you feel either way. We don't mind constructive criticism.

    K&G

Re: Some notices about the forum

Well I am not the specialist to find what went wrong. The only I can do is to say my suppositions. Of course with my poor and tragic English it?s not so easy.
I see this board as the continuing of the old. The forums are like the shops. When they change, some old customers go away some others come. In the beginning you get inside and just observe. After get the habits of the place and at the end become a part of this. I only can compare your old board , girls, with the new. It had a tradition. I was observer for 1 year. When I find some members with the same favorite themes and felt comfortable, I made my first post, after the first threads and at the end I was part of this community. It cost to me the crash down of the board. So I look for other forums and I followed the same journey. I heard about the new, from a thread in Free Catfight Forums (I think it was from catfightreport but I am not sure?). I became again member and in the beginning I was visiting the site every day. But as I didn?t see the old atmosphere-action I stop for a long. Of course in this case there is and personal responsibility as all we waiting from someone else makes the job?
I don?t think that the necessary to be someone member is the real problem. But and the simple changes sometimes playing their roles. Personally I loved the old form?
I don?t know how many from the old members know about the new. As I said I learned about it, from another forum. But how many reported it?
Another problem is the interesting of the members for the threads. If someone makes something and nobody interest, it is physical to let it. I think that somebody makes a thread for learn and other, different opinions. Not for the ?bravo? or the ?good story?. So here is our personal responsibility. For example, with all the respect to him, our friend canadianlou, tired to write some amazing stories for his tournament. Nobody of us show an interesting to post our opinion. Just delight other?s job? of course this is a complex problem as sometimes many of us don?t know the fighters. Personal I don?t see serials in TV and I ignore women like Righeti, Hayden Panettiere or Yvonne Strahovski and all the new wave of stars. But I have made 3 or 4 polls for example with Megan Fox and I haven?t seen movie of her!!!(?well the real reason is that after the Golden Goddess there is only the chaos?lol)
But one real problem I think is the ?level? of discussions. If I remember well, before the crush down there was a ?bad air? in the board. All had began with a ?fight? between the funs of sisters Williams and Spice Girls (with all the respect these girl bring the disaster everywhere?lol. And in Free Catfight Forums their funs almost destroy the tournament of a friend? only because they wanted the SG victorious?). After someone insulted a poll of one of the best imo writers (tank) for cheating. Tank leave and many from the other writers followed him. And I think this was the real problem as the writers were the ?spirit and the soul? of the board. I don?t know what really happened but this was the beginning of the end. And here is necessary the participation of moderator to calm the ?blood?. We are different people, with different culture, language, age, habits and only one common fetish. But let the girls fight?lol, don?t blame each other. At least all are fiction. Personal, somewhere else a member put a poll with deathfight. I hate the brutalizing of the woman in real life, so you can understand how I felt. But I just ignored it. It is impossible for someone to like to everyone.
Maybe all those are wrong and sound stupid, but are my poor opinion. I wish for better days in the forum. And I will make an effort with some poll-stories. I am an amateur writer but in my native language. So don?t shooting me, for the murder of English language?lol. And please don?t misunderstand me for my comments, I don?t accuse nobody and nothing (?well just a little the Spice Girls?lol). I really have good intentions and my only wish is to be the forum better and a bigger community.

ps. I prefer to say my opinion in public because I love the open discussion. I think this is the spirit of the forum.

Re: Some notices about the forum

Now, I?m not one for discussions and I generally try to limit my posts to just stories or comments on same ? unless someone addresses me directly ? but here I?ll try to put in a couple of cents, venture a few guesses, in the hope of getting someone to prove me wrong.

First, K&G, there?s no need to clobber yourselves all over the head (or other places); I don?t think the lack of activity on the Board is in any way your fault. There?s nothing you can that you haven?t done already. You?ve provided a place where anyone that wants to can post a story or express an opinion completely free. Sure, there are certain rules, but they are not unreasonable and they?ve existed on the old Board as well, so I don?t think that?s the problem. A difference from said old Board is the need to register and then sign in to post. This might be a factor in the lack of activity, but again, I don?t see how. Registration is free and signing in (and out) takes about? well, I haven?t timed it, but is no more than a few seconds. So? I really don?t know why the people who used to visit don?t do so as often. I can only speak for myself; the others will have to do the same, I guess. One reason for my reticence is the fact that, like I said, most of my posts are stories and I just haven?t got any to post nowadays. For one, I?m really short on time. Two ? and this might be something some of the ?older? writers can relate to ? having been at my most ?impressionable? more or less through the 1990?s and early 2000?s, I have my tastes and interests firmly rooted in celebs from that time period. This being 2010, most of those women (the Crawfords, MacPhersons, McDougals, Baywatch babes, Sables, Keiblers, Wilsons, etc.) are just about ?gone?, getting little to no exposure, so I find it rather difficult to get any stimulus for generating new material. And by ?exposure? I mean that not only are they not getting popular men?s mag shoots, TV prime time, or major headlines (some of them used to, you know), but they aren?t even featured in any stories by femfight writers (I personally think the latter fact could have something to do with the former, but that?s just a wild guess). The point is that, these days, just about all the inspiration I could hope to get comes from some of Simguy?s masterful work on the FCBA Board ? and even this happens seldom. There?s been an influx of new celebs ? both genuine ones and wannabes ? and my ?favorites? have been reduced to either a jobber or opponent status, or at best to some cameo appearances in favor of the ?new blood?. Nothing wrong with fresh faces, mind you; my problem is that, not watching television or movies, I find it difficult to get into the new scene. I?ve had to Google probably over 80 percent of the names I?ve seen on the FCBA roster in the past year and, for whatever reason, I?ve almost never been impressed. Not enough anyway. Do I blame anybody? Nope, it?s all me. An old, but by no means bitter man.

And speaking of the FCBA, another reason why some people may be shying away from this Board is that they?ve found a safer heaven for themselves in the world of boxing. By which I mean that their favorite girls are doing better in over there than they are/were over here. Again, I don?t know if that?s so; I?m just guessing. If anyone disagrees, they should say as much and give their own reasons or suppositions.

Another thing ? and this one is solely about the shortage of new material ? is the almost complete lack of responses on the stories that have been posted recently. By that I don?t mean my own stories as I haven?t posted anything recently and, when I have done so, it has generally been treated kindly. I?m talking about the last few stories which have been posted here and which have been largely ignored. Now, if one really doesn?t like a story it?s understandable if they refrain from commenting on it; it?s what I do myself. However, if they found anything at all enjoyable about what you?ve read, no matter how little of it, the least they can do is say a simple ?thank you? to the person who?s taken the time and made the effort. Don?t get me wrong; I?m neither preaching, nor griping. I?m just saying that some authors may have found the lack of encouragement somewhat disheartening and called it a day.

That?s about all the guesswork I?m capable of right now. Again, if anyone has anything else to say on the subject, I think this is exactly why this Board was created in the first place.

Re: Some notices about the forum

I'm just too quiet for my own good and haven't had the time to indulge in more catfight stories.

I have IDEAS for them, but other ideas are taking precedent.

I guess I can at least post responses to new stories, but I generally don't like giving cookie cutter "Hey, that was awesome!" comments. They're good, but I'd rather be more substantial than that.

Re: Some notices about the forum

Well, the development is sad, obviously, but it's certainly not K&G's fault at all (if anyone, boardhost is too blame for losing the old one). I do think that the registration is part of the reason why this new board never took off - maybe the subject matter makes people don't want to register with an email address (although the old board, up to a time, actually listed the ip addresses publicly, which is far more identity-endangering).

Anyway, I thoroughly enjoy the FCBA, like Amateur does, and that makes me happy enough, even though I wish the old days of the K&G board were back.

The story reaction (or rather the lack thereof) is frustrating. I even said in a response to my Righetti/Daniel story below that I may not have enough passion to continue if nobody replied - and there was still no reaction. I don't take that personal, but it's a little sad.

Are there any good board hosters that don't need registrations at all?

Re: Some notices about the forum

    Because we want to?

Begging for responses is something that actually turns me off from responding to a story, and especially from leaving a response. When a writer then decides to hold stories hostage for them it just turns me away even faster.

Though to be perfectly fair, I did not read that story only due to the combatants involved. Just don't care to much for Daniel and am utterly indifferent towards Righetti.

Each choice of combatant narrows the audience sometimes.

    And I'm one picky jerk.

Re: Some notices about the forum

Well, I don't quite get why you felt the need for a more aggressive tone, but anyway: I didn't beg for responses. I merely asked, three months after originally posting the story, whether more people would care to respond. I don't hold anybody hostage - I just feel a lack of motivation and if nobody tells me he'd enjoy reading a continuation that doesn't exactly encourage me.

If you don't care for the fighters, that's perfectly okay of course.

Sorry, those are usually the tactics taken by those desperate for comments/positive reinforcement.

    I'm also naturally aggressive. It's a flaw.

Re: Some notices about the forum

I've never understood the fans of this industry and their lack of response on things. Sometimes it leaves producers, story writers, and others truly scratching their heads.

I really do wish the fans of this genre would participate more in constructive discussion, but I'm beating an old horse over the head.
