Sausage Stuffer, Here I Come!

Short form: I got a $100 scholarship for being nice. Scary, huh?

Long form: I was front house at the GDR (Gourmet Dining Room) on campus (for class, half semester we cook, the other half we wait tables. $25 for a five course meal, great food, best culinary secret in Santa Barbara) for a (school) president's function. A week later the department chair is looking for 'the girl at the wine table last Friday'. With an 'Oh, shit, what did I do?' feeling, I raised my hand. Turns out some "community leaders" wanted to give me a scholarship for being so nice.

I'm going to spend it on an attachment for my stand mixer and a new chef's coat.
