Oh yeah,
I remember that, back when Nighty was going to be a member of the Legion of Superheros.
God, am I glad that he didn't put him with them, talk about getting lost in the shuffle.

Legion of Superheros? You mean that incredibly involved... thing with all the different characters, none of whom are explained in any sort of detail? I mean, really. I read 20 more or less consecutive issues and I still have only the vaguest impression of any of the characters.
If anyone is actually a fan of this, could you explain to me the relationship between the slug princess and that orange guy? Is it really as disgusting as I'm thinking? Or are they just friends?
And what about L.E.G.I.O.N.? The characters seem sort of the same. Only sicker.
Off-topic. Again! Um. I'm really happy Nightcrawler isn't in that mess. Yeah.

Yup. Yup. It was a fine trade with DC. Also illustrates why Claremont will always have a warm spot in my heart: he can write characters you can tell apart. Just design the look of the character is half the work... By the way, nice afro look on that proto-storm, not?

I heard that when they were making Storm, they were going to call her Typhoon, but changed it to Storm.

Looking at the work by todays fashion standards it is dated, but at 1973 it is very modern and cool.
Very nice piece of NC lore you found there Elwing. I will be adding that pic to my collection.
As for Legion, I was a big fan when I was younger. The superboy era with the legion was great. Legion Lost, for those of you lucky enough to get it, is a great take on the Legion. It is some of the best art and story telling I have seen in regards to the legion in a while. Also, check out the recent story by Alan Davis, Superboy's Legion. Great Stuff.
