Our client, a multi-million-dollar subsidiary of a privately-owned international services company, is seeking to add a Human Resources Manager to its management team. This HR professional will have overall responsibility for providing support and assistance to the management team in all human resources related matters. This position will report directly to the President of the subsidiary and will work closely with Regional Managers and District Managers throughout the country.

This Human Resources professional will recruit and source employees for field management positions and establish a network of contacts with agencies. Responsible for EEOC and Affirmative Action compliance. Maintain the AA plan and work on diversity initiatives in the Company including training. Manage the leadership assessment and development process and the coordination of management/supervisory training in the organization. Organizational planning includes company structure and manpower analysis, progression flowcharting, and succession planning. Serve as resource for the field in progressive discipline issues, terminations, and problem resolution. Review Union Contracts and coordinate the implementation of procedures to insure compliance with specific clauses or requirements. Conduct compensation analysis to determine proper market rates for both technical and supervisory positions. Review current and proposed compensation scales to insure competitiveness in the marketplace. Maintain and update the employee policy manual for the company and plan for changes in policy implementation.

Successful candidates for this position will have at least 10 years of human resources generalist experience handling multiple areas within a large, growing organization. Union contract experience and training/organization development experience is required. A college degree is desirable, but prior experience may be substituted. This position will require some overnight travel estimated to be in the area of 20%.
