DESCRIPTION: Position is for Human Resources Employment Specialist and Employee Relations Representative to act as an HR Representative at a large service organization whose area of services is in commerical and industrial and historical building preservation and design. Employee base is 470 large with 5 line HR staff supporting at least 6 locations. Gross Revenues reported at 75 million annually. The operations side supports initiatives in 41 states and 21 countries. This is a professional world class operation. For a surface example?.entering the corporate headquarters, open area, leather couches, soft jazz music. Professional environment.

Areas of primary responsibility will be flexible and diverse. This will include recruiting and employee relations. For instance, job descriptions and sign-off procedures for hiring are not in place and an initiative has resulted to develop them. HR has not been as involved in any decision making for some of the technical personnel (acting more like a resume pass through) and the HR manager would like the department to get more involved.

Job Site is in: The Lawrenceville and Princeton area of Mercer County Region of New Jersey. This is just off Route 1 and perhaps a reasonable commute from trenton or Bucks County Pennsylvania.

Report TO: Human Resources Manager.

Description:Position will act as a employment/recruiting specialist and assume a generalist role in employee relations and other tasks. Tasks will change & vary over time. There's room for growth in that this company is growing and some potential projected transition in department management in the next 5 years or so. Also, due to their rapid expansion in the last 5 years, there's many things to put in place.
QUALIFICATIONS: The best candidates may present the following.

3) Occasional travel.
4) 2-4 yrs college or equivalent
5) 3+ years Generalist or recruiting in concern with multiple locations.
) Written communication skills
9) Effectively communicate with all levels of organization and with vendors
10) organization skills, creativity, manage multiple projects simultaneously.
