my son the all star player...

today is finally here and we are playin in the 6 yr old district tournament by 7 yr old rules *wheww*...its a 10 team double elimination lotsa rules that we're learning kinda tournament.

here's the update:

Our First Game ......we won yippee yay 25-17.
Our Next Game is coming up in a couple of hours...

Keep yer fingers crossed and say a quick prayer for my boy *proud momma smile* who is the first baseman.


If we place within the top four of this district tournament, we're off to the state, with an advancement into the World Series *stays calm*.

UPDATE:

We won our 2nd game 24-4, yippee....my son caught the last three outs, not to mention the braggin i'll do later about his hits that bounced against the fence *great big proud momma smile*...

Our next game Sunday 330....if we keep winning...it just keeps getting better.....

Update for Sunday:

Tee Ehn's boy catches infield high fly ball, batters out.........Tee's boy hits hard one to left field that bounces to the fence....Tee's boy's friend knocks hits a hard one to left, its going, going, gone! ladies and gentlemen that ball is outttttttta here.......*lots of screamin and yellin by the people in the stands*...

Thanks to the Good Lord, we won 18-14 which puts us in the final four bestest teams, we're off to the State Tournament and receive an invitation to play in the World Series *celebrating all around*...but first we hafta finish this tournament with another game tonight, Monday.

update:

the district games are finally over and after all the bad calls we got we lost the first game tonite by 2 runs and lost the second by one run, and we still got THIRD place in the district........buuuuuuuutt........now we can focus on another goal......the state tournament *applause*...my boy assisted in a double play, high fly and tagged two out at first that the ump never seen (he was in lala land) LOL......oh well anyways......we've come along way babyeeeeee......*packs our bags for this state trip*.........
