The official summer *L* here in florida from Feb-October it's summer. Right now its 7:55am and it's 79 degrees...
My plans are going with my daughter and grandson to Saint Augustine, Florida. One of my favorite places on earth. Reminds me of being back in the medieval, civil war times, with the tiny alleys that hold a treasure of stores. The artist doing artwork on the sidewalks, the abundance of history of the oldest city in the United States. Just a laid back, relaxing fantastic time.

GASP... i would LOOOOOVE that, pickles!! *big smile* I'll have to remember the place, in case i am ever deciding to take a vacation somewhere so that i can go see some interesting stuff... i LOVE to look through old stuff, antiques, old books, old records, glassware, dishes, furniture, mmm, especially furniture, lol... i went to this place once in atlanta... it was AWESOME.. i have no clue the name, but they had furniture in there that had been in castles in england, and the like... some of it was 3 times as tall as you... and there were chandeliers hanging from the ceilings (which looked to be about 50 ft. high, lol) that would have taken up the ceiling of my mom and dad's whole HOUSE... *sighs*... i think i should have been born sooner... i would have loved to have lived in victorian times... *L* maybe it's because i'm intense and dramatic... think Wuthering Heights... *G*
*stops rambling*... huh? oh! plans for the summer... *BIG big huge smile*... (i keep coming back and changing the faces to words because stupid image limit won't let me post my reply, lmao... guess i smiled too much... *G*)
....just in case there is ANYONE on the planet by now that doesn't know, my 2 week vacation is coming up in the last week of july and the first week of august.... on the first day of that, i will drive about an hour away to the airport, and pick up Don... so that we can spend our vacations together... ...as far as what we're actually gonna DO... i'm not completely sure, lol... i haven't really made any concrete plans... it's a given that we'll go around to all the scenic places in WV... a lot of the state parks, probably, and of course we'll visit the New River Gorge... if i was more adventurous, i could take him white water rafting (yeah right i don't wanna dieeeeeee), or rock climbing, repelling, etc... *laughing*... considering that both of us have back troubles, that might not be such a very great and wonderful idea either...
i thought maybe since we aren't doing the Chat Suites reunion thing anymore, that we might plan a small trip somewhere once he's been here for a few days, a week, something... whenever it is our mothers become convinced that neither of us is going to murder the other, stuff their lifeless body into a suitcase and mail it to Gwam. But i'm not entirely sure where we could go... the beach isn't all that exciting to him probably, as he lives closer to it than i do, lol... i don't know, i thought it would be sorta neat to just get to know one another for a few days, do whatever we fancy, and then sit down and pick out something TOGETHER...s* that's the most important part to me... i don't care if we sit at home for 2 weeks straight in our pajamas watching Inuyasha, eating take-out, and having sex... errrrrrrrrr.... did i say that? out loud?... oh well... [img]graemlins/angel.gif[/img] hehe... point is, it doesn't matter to me WHAT we do... we will be together to do it... [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
counting today, we have exactly 40 days...

i have been sitting outside on the front porch, watching the lightning bugs, smelling the perfumed scent of flowers, feeling the warm breeze blow... people are letting off fireworks tonight, in honor of the 4th, lol... *sighs contentedly*... i love summer....
