Oh yes, Pippin's song was just absolutely gorgeous and I had no idea that Billy Boyd could sing that was absolutely amazing. I have the soundtrack and I like to listento Aragorn's coronation song though it's hard to hear him sing because his voice is so deep and quiet.

LOL! Dom said that? Wow, the sure does sound like him. The Return of the Return of the King and the Three Towers....that is good.

Well, here's the official soundtrack site: http://www.lordoftherings-soundtrack.com/ Has info, but not the actual songs.

And wow, I am beginning to now realize how many zillions of different lyrics there are to Billy's song, Steward of Gondor. Problem is, they're not listed in the soundtrack, so everyone hears it their own way.

I was one of the first people to write them down, and though I know I had quite a few lines wrong, I'm still very proud of myself.

I know there's only little variations, but this is the one I've seen alot. Variations tend to most often be in lines 1 & 2, 6&7...

Oh home behind, the world ahead
And there are many paths to tread
Through Shadow to the edge of night
Until the stars are all alight
Mist and Shadow, Cloud and shade
All shall fail
Oh shadow, fade....

But hey, whatever the words are, they sound sound so much better when Billy sings them then when they're written down.

I found one that ius very close to what i hear, and then when you add a couple of changes it looks like

Home is behind the world ahead
And there are many patghs to tread
Through shadow to the edge of night
When the stars are all alight
Mist and shadow, cloud and shade
Hope shall fail, all shall fade

And iof anyone is interested, i havce a quenya and sindar version saved, though some words have changed, or arewn't there at all due tothe fact that i haven't been able to find them and i have searched FAR. If you can find them i will be greatful.

But if all else fails., we can wait for the DVD and put on the subtitles or transcripts or Scripts

Yeah, (minus the typos ) that's basically the version I've compromised to believe is really it. Though some of the words seem really distorted, it makes the most sense as a poem and it sound the most like it when Pip sings.

Oh *glomp*!
