I recently aquird a pair of new (old stock)replacement cones for my K15 40 drivers, one of which was creased in shipping. Is there a way of correcting this problem? I wondered if steaming the affected area would rejuvenate the fibres or is that too risky for other reasons? BTW, these appear to have been manufactured in Italy (unless the boxes are not original...). Did VV contract this sort of thing out?
    Thanks, Andrew

Hi; I've been absent for a while...
I got the cones through a friend on the H.J. Leak Yahoo site. There was an ebay listing for cones a couple of months ago but he was asking silly money and didn't get a bid. Sorry, I didn't keep the link but a completed item search might work...
