A few graphic novels have eased thier way to the local library, I've read 4 of "The Authority" and wondered if anyone had any views on The Authority or could recommend any good mature graphic novels ?

Mature graphic novels? Have no idea what 'The Authority' is (subject-matter?), but for a non-childrens book, would recommend a few of Neil Gaiman's SANDMAN series (though some of his books bored me, others were brilliant). And the CEREBUS series, but that's a tough one, as it MUST be read chronologically beginning-to-end, and is over 2,500-pages in length.

The Authority are a super hero gang...but there is alot more violence than say superman etc. Plus
2 characters are gay.

I've read some sandman, used to like V for Vendetta from the now defunked mag Warrior.
Will look out for the cerebus series.

I would suggest 100 Bullets and Y The Last Man from Vertigo as well as The Walking Dead from Image and 30 Days of Night from IDN

Had a look around library ... no Cerebus
but got Y last man - "unmanned book 1"
Y last man - "one small step book 3"
looking like a "survivors" type story line,
art not to good, but story seems ok so far.
Also got 100 bullets "A foregone tomorrow"
Will let you know when I've worked through them
thanks for the feed back.
