How many months (from the departure from Rivendell) did it take for the fellowship to destroy the Ring.
(Okay! FRODO and SAM?)

Question 44 you mean.
Funny story bout that. I had a psyche-for-TTT party, and I made a list of a whole bunch of random LotR facts. Including the fact that FotR (book) spans 5 months (and numerous years), while TTT lasts only 10-18 days (depending who you follow... which is why I didn't mind moving Shelob to RotK, because according to the timeline it was closer). Lol I'm a dork.
Ans: 3 months to the day.
Question 45: Related question: upon what holiday did the Fellowship set out from Rivendell (though the elves may or may not celebrate it, Tolkien did ^_^"). And from there you should be able to figure out when "Ring Day" is, aka the Gondorian New Year.

^_^' I knew that!
45: Christmas Day (i.e December 25)
Q46: When he came across the hobbuits (or atleast during the time that he was there) what was Tom Bombadil wearing? (Note: After reading this, most readers immediately that he was some form of doper.)
Time to revive this lol!
46: Tommy B is one crazy man, but we love him. Apparently Tolkien modeled him after his son's doll. But yah, I forget exactly, but I know he had blue and yellow and leggings and a big colorful hat with a long feather. In other words, a crazy outfit.
Question 47: What is Tom Bombadil? (Discuss amongst yourselves ^_^"). And since that's unanswerable, who was Tom's wife?
<font size="4" face="Harrington, Verdana, sans-serif">Tom Bombadil is actually the Witch King in disguise! *nods and dodges tomatoes, missles, and grenades*Originally posted by Callisto Star:

Tom's wife is Goldberry?
Question 48: *thinks* Um....*thinks* I don't know if this was asked before but....
Which elf stayed behind wandering in Middle-Earth after the elves set sail to Valinor? *shrugs*
48: Err... which time? I mean, a whole bunch of elves (Teleri) hung out in Middle earth instead of going to Valinor when the Vanyar and Noldor went. And then Galadriel, Cirdan, and Elrond (they're the notable ones) stayed when the Noldor returned. And then Celeborn and the twins hung out in Rivendell for awhile after the Three Rings sailed away.
But I'm guessing you're referring to Maglor, who is a rockin dude, who (in my belief) wanders the shores forever. But some say he flung himself into the ocean along with the Silmaril. Blah!
