Liars, Guns & Money. Pt.1

Enjoyed the episode overall but seemed a little slow at the start. It was good to see the 'gang' in action once again. Pilot had very little coverage in this ep, & mores the pity as he is one of my favorites.

Really liked the concept of the 'Shadow Depository', I admit partly due to the name. I had visions of the B-5 Shadows having a few active accounts at the place, heheh, ya know....with little Shadow minions running around making deposits & withdrawls. wink

John Crichton seems to rely a bit much on contemporary earth phrase associations, but hey, to each his own. I did get a charge out of his talking about KFC secret ingredients.

Natira's appearance seems to have borrowed heavily from SIL & has come out somewhat lacking. I didn't really appreciate the licking scene between her and Scorpy, yyyycchh! Speaking of tongues, I didn't know Luxan tongues did that !!

Jas, Dargo has done that with his tongue on several episodes. I think he even did so to Aeryn at the beginning of the season when they were all together on an asteroid after blowing up the PK base.

And hey, you never know about the Shadows. Maybe Morden will show up with his bankbook one of these days. smile

Actually, Dargo had used his tounge on aeryn when they went down to a planet to rescue Rygel and the red crystal that helps to keep Moya in orbit.

Aeryn was wearing one of theose "Super injectors" on her arm and Dargo had to ...er..subdue her.

Part 3

Well, I liked this episode a bit better than the last.

I thought I actually felt the pain that Moya, Pilot and Zahn felt when she had to "burn" the ifestation out of herself. It was like getting rid of that new Flesh eating disease. Have to destroy it.

I am a little bit confused, unless I was out of the room because of a ranting 3 year old. Anyway, I saw Chrighton on approeach and saw that Moya was on fire. He THEN o?

Oh what a "I told you so" grin Scorpi had when Chrighton said...Do what you have to......

Was it explained how Scorpi was rescued from his near death last week?

.I dont recall him explaining it, but I believe it was his ...er....playmate; the manager of the depository, that saved him.

i just re-posted all the basic Farscape links at the Farscape Forum at Speculative Vision. The BBC site is excellent, but full of spoilers. Once you've seen an episode, though, it's worth going to their episode guide and reading their review and the "Did You Notice" section. We are now two episodes away from the season's cliffhanger.

The Jan. 26 episode. SPOILERS!!!

What an episode! The previous three left me yawning and sorry that I'd bothered to watch.
This one was more like the old Farscapes. The characters were better played and the story happened so fast I couldn't keep up.

I cried during the ceremony. and the crew gave up some of their most precious belongings.- I hope that the fact that they still have the body and didn't jettison it into a sun means that they will revive her. Actually, I was surprised that considering that she died of immersion in freezing water that their knowledge of cryogenics didn't get used to revive her.

I was also sorry for the doctor who was a caring and talented person.

The doctor's agent (assistant? owner?) was one of the most physically disgusting humanoids I've seen since the movie Dune's Baron.

How long can John stay in that condition- the sterility of the room compromised, brain exposed? I assume they will be able to find someone able to put him back together.

Thank goodness the new season starts soon, and also that old episodes will be shown in the interim.
