Hey all,

I hope the new year is treating you all well.

I am sooo glad xmas is over. Being a gifty kind of store it is a brutal season during the holidays.

And this Anita Blake comic has been a big boon and curse to us. We have sold about 1% of all printed and shipped 1% of all printed, each month! LOL So busy is a bit of a understatement. I vaguely remember what having a life was like!

Mousey had to go to the vet. She is fine, but now I have to try to force feed her bubblegum medicine and end up covered in pink goo. And I get to rub cream on her butt. Boy is that fun! *groan*

But mostly healthy, website is doing well. I am a mover and shaker in the comic book retail world. ROFL And every now and then really cool things happen!

I am planning a trip to Yosemite to see Old Faithful this summer. So that should be cool.

Be well everyone.

Hey, AsIs, great news on the store! You should be proud of yourself starting that business, and seeing it grow the way it has. Congratulations!

Sorry about Mousey. Giving cats medicine is no fun, even at our house where we have one person to incapacitate the little beast, and another to "administer" the medicine. LOL! Good luck! Wish I had an audio recording of a Prairie Home Companion "commercial" from Bertha's Kitty Boutique for the stainless steel, spring loaded suppository stuffer for cats. Hilarious!

Hey, Ian! Howsya doin'? I was actually referring to the radio program, and this bit was probably back in the 80's.

I don't think the radio signal would have carried all the way over here.

Doing reasonably, thanks.

Yeah, you're right, I mean Yellowstone. Already been close enough to Yosemite.

I'm really jazzed about getting to see Old Faithful. I watch it on webcam sometimes. I want to see it up close.

Mousey is feeling well enough to shake her head all around when I try to squirt the medicine in. Little brat.

And thanks on the store. There are aspects to it that are really neat.

Cool

We've just had some pretty bad weather here in the UK.
Lots of complaining, closed roads, closed rail lines.
I keep trying to point out that the US has it worse.

I hope you're all okay.

Thanks for thinking of us, Ian. Actually, where I live it's been an extremely mild winter so far. Temps usually well above normal. We've gotten a lot of rain, but no snow to speak of. Probably till less than an inch for the entire season. March will probably suck. LOL!

But out west, they've gotten freezing temperatures, blizzards and ice storms. I feel for them. Valen told me he couldn't get to work the other day in Dallas, because of the ice storms.

Colorado has not been having a good winter but DC has had many days in the 60' and 70's. We just got hit with a whopping inch of snow so the city is pretty close to shut down. Schools opened 2 hours late, where they opened. Half of the schools closed down for the day. D.C., land of the weather wimps.

I was in San Diego last week and was a bit disappointed that the snow that hit Malibu didn't make it to San Diego. That was a sight to see, snow angles being made in Malibu. Pretty cool stuff.
