I got a Kindle for my birthday and I am loving it. I am currently carrying 20 books with me whereever I go, I can flip from book to book insanely easily, and I can order books when ever I want without having to drive any were.

It is so freaking cool.

All those books that no longer have copywrites? Free. And there are websites galore with them. I am just starting to explore those.

So the reader itself is expensive. The Kindle is $350, the older Sony model is $300, the newer Sony is $400 but the books are cheaper, with over a million books being free, you can carry your entire library with you, and the batteries last a long time.

I am so loving life.

Definately weird! :lol A look thru the forum shows that all migrated boards are filed under the owners screen name. It is odd, I see names of people I haven't posted with in years!

Thanks. Yup. 10/10/09 we are working the registry soon. That could be kind of fun. I am looking forward to running through Crate and Barrell to register. The problem is we don't need a ton but we still need to put together a registry. I think we will probably set up some charities that people can donate to.
