I haven't seen much of Kristen Stewart's work; 'Twilight' hasn't been released in the UK yet (I'm afraid I found the novel excruciatingly dull), so I can't comment on her suitability to play Joan Jett. What her presence in the film will do is raise its profile and ensure a large audience. I imagine a lot of young girls will want to see it, and that can't be a bad thing. I just hope the movie retains the (sometimes painful) honesty that Cherie showed in her book. And I'm still rooting for the gutsy Ellen Page to play Cherie.

Ellen Page eh?!?! She's a cutey!

I wonder if she is musically inclined? I hear she named her dog Patti, after one of her idols. Patti Smith! That's kind of interesting!
I haven't seen Juno but wasn't she a Runaways fan in that movie?
She's 21 now but still looks like a teenager. I wonder how she'd look as a blonde?!?!?

All I know is I can't wait to find out who'll play Cherie. The suspence is killing me,
for sure!

Hey everyone its Kristen! I was in the recording studio yesterday and I have been writing a lot of songs recently so it was easy and fast to record. The album is called "Am I right" and my default photo is from the photo shoot. Im trying to decide the Album cover. I'll post more pics soon. My first single to come out I'm pretty sure is "A good reason"

I wrote one about my Twilight Co-star Robert. Mostly about break-ups and why they happen. I hope you all like the album!

Kristen Stewart is "vibrating with excitement" at her new movie role.

The 'Twilight' actress is delighted to be portraying Joan Jett in the forthcoming biopic of the 'I Love Rock 'n' Roll' singer in 'The Runaways' and is still amazed at landing the part.

She said: "I'm, like, vibrating. I'm just so excited about that movie. I'm really, exceedingly, more excited than normal."

Kristen - who is learning guitar to prepare for her role - is particularly happy that she has had the chance to hang out with Joan, who is executive producer on the movie.

She added to MTV News: "I spent New Year's with her. I spent, like hours, just talking to her. It's been great."

'The Runaways', which is due to start filming at the end of this year, will follow the all-girl group from their mid-70s until their demise four years later.
