I am on a huge JOsh White kick, (not the blues guy).
This guy should be absolutely famous. He is incredible. He started in Man Ray, in 1995, then formed Medicate, then Shiro, and is now in Telecast.
I am this guy's biggest fan, next to his family. He really knows how to harmonize and writes incredible guitar riffs. The only site you can go to to check him out is www.telecastmusic.com He started in hard rock/rockabilly, with a splash of metal, and he brings that to telecast, but they are Christian music. He says he tries to write songs his nonchristian friends will enjoy.
He is fabulous, and there was a debate that Telecast sounded like Coldplay, but Josh was recording music before Coldplay was a band.
Anyway, check them out if you want. I can't get enough of him
You can get "Casual Thinking" by ManRay on ebay or order it from Tower,Virgin, HMV, Borders or Barnes and Noble. There is also "Coming Undone" by Josh, on emperor records. These are NOT christian music.
....and now back to your regular program....
(sorry for the Josh White commercial, but I justlove this guy!!!!!!)

Telecast, Marilyn Manson, and Nirvana. The irony is Telecast is a christian band, but Josh White should be as famous as the other two.

I've been working out and listening pretty religiously to the solo album by Kathy Valentine. It is quite impressive and that style of music (2 guitars, drums, bass, vocals) isn't seen too much these days.

Just picked these up at the USED (but not abused) CD store!

Good music fills the air:

The Cranberrie - Millenium Collection
Cyndi Lauper - At Last
Cyndi Lauper - The Essential Cyndi Lauper
Ringo Starr - Choose Love

I have one too and I think it's great.

Phil Spector's Christmas Album has just emerged from my Beatle's collection for it's yearly spin.
It's on The Beatle's Apple label. That's why it's in my Beatle's collection.

I saw a news clip recently of old Phil and he had a sort of pink afro thing going!

Spooky dude....but he made a timeless Christmas album once, amoung other things!

What up (musically speaking) with you?

Berlin - 4 Play

This is one excellent CD by Terri Nunn and company.
I recommend it highly!
With new songs such as "Scream" and "Down And Dirty" and songs that I knew they were doing live but had never heard, such as "Erotic City" and "Dope Show" I could not be happier!
Especially after being a little disappointed with their last studio album, Voyeur.

There are many other gems here too, including "No More Words" from VH1's 'Bands Reunited' performance. That was so cool!
I loved the OLD Berlin but hey...
Terri and her new band shine, big time, on 4 Play!

Takes MY breath away, anyway!
