Dear Sheri,
While I'm not a neurosurgeon, in my experience, MOST meningiomas are benign. Symptoms can come simply from the position of the tumor and not the cell type. I think you have a great chance for a good outcome (I'm a lung and intensive care doc). Good luck to you!!
