    festival express 0

    You all should check out the DVD FESTIVAL EXPRESS which shows Janis Joplin, The Band, The Grateful Dead, Delaney and Bonnie and many other great groups Touring Canada aboard a Train in 1970 ....

    Even though the Tour the group were on was a Financial Disaster (The The Trans Continental Pop Festival)the film is an interesting time capsule of those glory days of Rock and gives us a chance to see Janis before she left us in October of 1970 [img]graemlins/cry_smile.gif[/img]

    Best part is when the entire entourage made a pit stop in Saskatoon and cleaned out and entire liquor store !
