I don't understand you. I was reading this board as a guest. And i like reading it. I don't think it's a good idea to close it. It's not rational to cry about all of this things.
You are grown up people. And you should be like grown up people. And live without such histerics.

And if you move to Enessis, I will enjoy reading you there. But just tell about it, because there are a lot of people who read you without registration and the wouldn't know that this forum was abandoned

Hey everybody!

I was keeping out of things pretty much but now I do want to express my opinion.
What is going on here?!
The last few days were being pretty confusing and to be honest I'm tired of people apologizing for everything.
I don't know John personally but I always liked his performances. Nevertheless I can't understand his reaction. People on this board are here because they LIKE him.. but does that mean that all we have to say has to be totally positive?! I perfer people who are critical and honest to those who stop using their brains and go 'Ooooh he's sooooo perfect and there's definately nothing he can't do! I love him, I love him..bla bla bla'. -_-*
So I don't know what our crime is.
He's an actor and he can't expect that there are no people talking about him at all.
Nevertheless I think we were always trying not to get too personal and if we did, well that might happen but he shouldn't even care about it.
Nobody else does.
The only thing I think might have been going wrong here is that there were too many personal things going on here in the last weeks but that's just my opinion.
Anyways it might be strange to see how people who don't even know you talk about you but hell, that's the risk in the job and we always tried to be respectful as far as I'm concerned.
I don't see any reason to take down this board. And I can't stand any more people excusing themselves. If you wrote it you probably meant it. I always did. Of course people might write a lot of crap when they're hyper or disappointed or whatever but that's only human.
So c'mon. Don't put the board down! I'd miss you people and even if you don't want to talk about John anymore because he scares you (*sigh*) just keep it up to keep in touch. Seriously. I think people are overreacting.
Patti, you asked John about a hundred times whether you should put the board down. If he didn't respond why do it? If it really bothers him that much, alright. It's his decision but why are you in favour of that idea?

So in my opinion people should calm down. If you don't think you've done anything wrong, why feel bad about it. Of course we've got to respect the feelings of others but then again I can't understand John's reaction no matter how much I like him on stage.

Anyway, I think that was everything. It's a bit much and pretty chaotic but well.. I just wanted to get rid of that and now I'm done with this subject. [img]wink.gif[/img]

I'm glad the Board is not coming down and agree entirely with your comments Bombi.
In my opinion the way to move on and not let all of this furore affect our conversations is to get back to where we were before, when we posted here to share our news and views about John rather than as a way of sending him messages or asking him questions. There are other forums which specialise in the 'Oh I love you John and by the way what's your shoe size and will you marry me when I grow up' type of post. Sorry for the sarcasm but I think it's time for straight talking. So, to those of us who have been around a while and maybe lost the plot a bit and also to newcomers, John may or may not ever read this Board again or ever post here again - let's just forget those possibilities and get back to being ourselves and enjoying John in our way.
Oh and Enessis, your new site is fantastic. The galleries are great and it's so good to see such an unselfish fan allowing everything to be downloaded. The screencaps from Sommernacht 2004 are awesome!

Nice post Bombi, I agree completely.
If that actually was John posting, which i very much hope it wasn't because my opinion of him will lower drastically, then what's he doing in the entertainment business if he can't take critisism. If everyone had the same opinions then the world would be a pretty boring place, and he can't expect every thing he does to be considered 'fantastic', and if he comes on a website to take a swipe at genuine fans then he's not worth your adoration, and it would be better placed somewhere else.
Sorry, but it annoys me that someone with so much going for them can't appreciate what they have when there are people out there with just as much talent who can't get a break.
Like I said before, I sincerely hope that wasn't really John posting, but if it was then he's gone down in my estimation, and probably a lot of other people's too.

But don't worry about it, I don't expect he holds a grudge, or if he does then he should spend his time more productively... like going out and finding me a job... am I being too subtle?
The mood needs to lighten though... it's a really good board, and has been going for a lot longer than most boards do on here... it's nice there are so many members as well... hello!!!
