In the 99 SEC title game, Bama beat UF by a score of 31-7.
Lost to LA-Lafeyette and UT, but beat Florida in the swamp by a point.
Ended up losing to Michigan in the Orange Bowl because Ryan Pflunger missed a PAT in OT.

The Peach Bowl is better than not playing in any bowl at all, which Bama hasn't since...2001. I know, probation!
