Never float!
Coach Robbins came to my Eagle Scout Ceremony and yes we talked about sports. He asked me to place this on the forum for you all to see. Again, this is not my work or proposal it's his. I actually think it's a pretty good plan.
District 1
PV
GC
Thomas Walker
Rye Cove
Appy
District 2
Kelly
Burton
Coeburn
St. Paul
Twin Springs
District 3
Clintwood
Pound
Ervington
Haysi
Hurley
Twin Valley
Council (no football team)
District 4
John Battle
Va. High
Lebanon
Honaker
Castlewood
I really think this evens up the D2 and D1 schools along with fixing the geography problem with many of the other proposals.

May I ask why you think that way Burrhead?

Thomas walker in the same district as GC and PV---absurd
They have to beat out Appy and Rye Cove to make the playoffs, while PV and GC must beat each other. The divisions are split up pretty evenly among D2 and D1.

I know, but each team in each district would have to play each other. Not very competetive week in or week out. Just my opinion.
Outside of last year when was the last time the LPD was competitive top to bottom in football?

The way sports are anymore, it is all unrelative. This part of the state is falling farther and farther behind!
So really your argument is based on competivness? Honestly I think it's a good system where D2 and D1 are pretty competive in all districts. On top of that the geography is great and travel wouldn't be that bad at all.

That's true!
