The thing with Shupe is you never know how he is going to make a call. One minute, he'll call a foul for the defensive player having his hand on the back of the offensive player, the next he'll make no call for someone getting a forearm to the forehead on a rebound.

If he was just consistent, it would be okay. Good or bad, it doesn't matter, just call all plays the same.

I still stand by the idea that SWVA gets shafted in the State tourney because our refs suck, and we're not used to playing the same way kids are in other Regions.
