well you play a chess match against Bobby Fischer and see how you do...but that doesn't make chess a sport

you don't have to be an athlete to do it...what athletic skills does NASCAR present?

it would be rough, yes...it'd scare me crapless to be driving that fast in a car going in circles...but just because something is hard doesn't mean it is a sport

These guys work out as hard as any football player, just to be able to do what they do. It takes alot of physical ability to do a race.

what does it take to make something a sport?

This has been debated so many times by everyone from us here in the corner of Va to journalist for large papers and magazines. no one is really going to change their minds.
