the last report i read said his knee injuries were minor, due to his landing on the pavement....
now everyone can kiss my arse for treating winslow like dirt just because the dude wrecked a motorcycle. The same stuff happens to good people too.

You would be amazed at the number of people in this area who can't wait to ride their motorcycles towards Kentucky, where they don't have a helmet law so they can take their helmet off.
That being said, got what he deserved? So he was riding his motorcycle, apparently did nothing wrong, and got what he deserved. Interesting. I sometimes wonder if you ever think before you type. Accidents happen. Who's to say if he had the helmet on that the extra weight on his neck might have caused a more violent neck action.
It's funny, its like seat belts. Yes, they save lifes, but we also know that there have been people thrown from cars that otherwise would have died if they had been strapped in. There was once a police I knew that said he never unstrapped someone from a wreck. You know why he could say that? It wasn't that nobody had ever died been strapped in, it was that the EMS or fire department would unstrap the person. Yes people die with seat belts on. People die with helmets on. Ben was lucky, sounds like he was driving safely, and someone else wasn't, the biggest issue with motorcycles normally isn't the motorcycle driver, but people not seeing them. Got what he deserved. I think we're all lucky (some of more so) that we don'get what we deserve.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
