Gotta give D. Wade props he is a great player but even a Mark Cuban Maverick hater like me could plainly see the bias in the officiating especially related to Wade. Seems there must be somekind of love affair between him and the league office. I dunno maybe they are setting up their marketing scheme around him for the next decade or so but only a Heat fan could watch those games and not see how obvious it was and how he was not allowed to be touched.

That sounds about like what I thought. I like Cuban's passion, he wants to win, and I like that he acts like most of us would if we had money to burn

They're trying to establish the Wade/James generation to be the new Bird/Magic. Watch and see. They was trying to make it Anthony, but he's not shown the maturity that they want.

In truth, with those 3, a player like Chris Bosh and one or two other younger players who do seem like they have some credible game to them, the NBA could rise back up.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.

Yeah they don't seem to be as big on marketing some of the great foreign players in the league...Manu Ginobili is probably the most underrated player in the world. A guy like Pau Gasol just gets no recognition and he is a beast. I know they really want to promote american players but I think still alot of it has to do with the residual effect of Jordan and Magic...they want the guys with the nice smile, mild demeanor and talks well in front of the camera who are really marketable to white teenagers. Dirk Nowitski just doesn't fit the mold. Lebron and D. Wade very much do.

i'm glad the NBA is finally over. i enjoy the league but it's too long of a season. Nov.-June is way too long. training camp is only 3 months away.
