I don't really know who all UT is really interested in now. They'll only take 18-20. They've already got 10 committed. There's only a chance of 1 of those (IMO) defecting (Art Evans). With those 10 they more than likely have silents from Chris Donald, Tony Logan, Harrison Smith, and maybe Eric Berry. I would imagine they'd take Lennon Creer, Tony Tucker, Rufus Williams, Marvin Austin, Joeseph Barksdale, and maybe one or two other guys. You'd think they'd want another o-lineman but I have no clue who they'd have a chance with.

He's probably a long shot, he's grew up with UT lb Rico McCoy. He's been to Knoxville twice.

    i agree with blue...he's a cane

i think we're only going head-to-head with UT for Tucker, Harrison Smith (although no real shot there), and Jay Smith...i think Miami, NCSU and VT are Smith's final 3...then of course ND and UT for Harrison...and then Tucker seems to be wide open right now but enjoyed his visit to VT

    Re: Mega...Ironlung

Its not make or break for Smith since we already have God himself Farquaharson, plus we should be able to add Deonte Thompson and some of the other real nice receivers in florida. We are still in the running for Tolliver and Kirkendoll too.

I noticed today that Armando Allen eliminated the canes from his list as well as Georgia. I think that one may come down to a ND/UT battle. That basically means Miami probably will only take Creer if he wants to come and maybe Antwaan Easterling. I think the only way they get Devine is if he goes to prep school.

That's more than likely on Austin. He seems to want to be in the spotlight, what better place than SOBE. I was just listing guys I knew they'd take for sure. Anyone would take him.

Tony Tucker was also a team mate of Rico McCoy. I think he'll end up at UT.

I'm not sure what UT will do on the rb front. They got Vereen from NC a couple months ago, he may be a cb eventually. Same thing with Hawkins today, he may be a lb. I'm more confident with them getting Creer than Allen.

To save posts and keep the whiners quiet...I'll post this here. His name is Rod Wilkes. He's just a sophomore in this film. Pretty good for a soph. I thought you might enjoy.
