I like this young group of guys we have on this team. Mexico isn't that bad of a team.
Once again refuses to shake the American's hands after yet another physical grudge match. It seems that every time the U.S. beats them, they rattle off a long littany of excuses to the media. U.S. wins 2-0 (now 7-0-1 at home vs Mexico). Very entertaining soccer game (watched it during UNC-PUKE commercials).

Looks like we finally have a coach. Look for the interim tag to be gone soon. Mexico is solid-good win for the U.S.A

i was watching soccer yesterday just to see what the big deal about it was and all that i learned is if you can't sleep watch soccer it puts you staight to sleep
ICGRM takin' over
I learned alot about soccer the year my sons payed. I learned that I had to lay my "macho' football love and pride to the side and realize that soccer was a much tougher/harder to compete in sport than our almighty football. No pads, heads banging together in mid air, cleats tearing exposed flesh, ZERO time to stop and catch your breath in soccer (unlike football). You are constantly running, moving from start to finish. My sons felt like playing around after their football games. After their soccer games, they wanted to eat (even though they ate well before the match, they had already burned that off) and go to bed. I love football as much as anyone, but soccer and high school wrestling requires alot more from a body than football.
As for boring, once you learn the game, what to look for, it is interesting. Different folks see different things I guess. I would rather watch paint dry than NASCAR (get the same effect). I get nothing out of watching cars circle a track (just waiting for the wreck so there's a glimmer of excitement).

Nice post I.D. Alot of people around here don't understand soccer so they are quick to critize it.
