According to paper, he will stick with track and cross country. Mills did a great job with the girls JV basketball program a few years back. It wouldn't shock me to see him stick his feet back in there maybe in a year or two, may take a break from the day-in/day-out for a bit of time.

LOL Well that is pretty much what I was told, i.e. his kids are done and he didn't want the aggravation.

Rick would make a great coach anywhere. But its just rare anymore to find basketball coaches who want to stay in it as long as coaches like Stan Wilson. Football coaches seem to have a longer tenure around here.

The problem I see with a lot of coaching situations is that it ultimately comes down to a popularity contest and who can appease the players, the parents, and fans. When in reality, Clintwood really needs a coach who is going to be tough and may have to [censored] off some people to get the job done.

For clarification, I got a PM explaining that Goodman is coaching the girls team and his daughter is playing now.

If in fact Moore is done coaching, it doesn't seem that Goodman would be switching from coaching the girls team to coaching the boys team.
