Official. In the Dickenson Star today with comments from Bill Castle and Mills.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.

Re: Coaching...

Last year was a bad year this year was an improvement and with a young team I think next year could have been a break out year. At least who ever takes over starts out with a better team than Mills had to start out with

Mills did a great job with the cross country program. But he might have been a mis-match for the boys basketball team.

Hopefully he'll continue with cross country.

Yeah I think he should stick with cross country. What individuals are looking at taking over for him?

Re: Coaching...

Well Vanover or Greear could take over again. Also heard one other name mentioned from outside but I promised not to say anything so sorry for the lack of useful information

Re: Coaching...

I think Clintwood may not be the only LPD team to have coaching changes next year.

In the Cumberland, I understand that Mullins may be stepping down at Rye Cove as well. I was a little surprised to hear from some folks at Twin Valley that Moore may be done coaching. I asked if Goodman was going to take over as coach, and the answer I received was "not likely."

The TV one suprises me I would have thought Goodman would be a shoe in there to take over

Re: Coaching...

That was my first thought. But the impression I got was that he wasn't interested.

Unless I'm mistaken, in the Gate City - Twin Vally Region D game he wasn't on the bench with the team.
