Yeah, we will get killed because Gate City has 7 or 8 All-Americans on the team just like they always do don't they??? Football isn't the only sport around my friend....although at Gate City it's the only sport. You all come to our district and play George Wythe...I doubt you'd ever get a district title in football. I know they aren't the only school in district, but if we did win that's who'd be standing in our way. From what I know, y'all can't even beat Powell Valley, let alone GW.

Football isnt the only sport in GC, we been goin to state and bringin it home in almost every sport. What about your beloved volleyball team?? I think the only sport we havnt made it to the state level in is football in the past 2 years, but we did win in 2003. When was the last time Battle won state in anything??

JSB. Your school could win too if all your coaches went out and recruited from other schools and other states. I wouldnt worry too much about what GC fans say. I went to a football game last year their were more cars from sullivan county tennesse with Devil stikers on them than they were with Va.tags thus goes to show that recruiting is a valued sport in GC.

you hit the nail on the head there!!! i know that at least 7 of their seniors in '05 were from tennessee and that is when they had lots of success.....makes you wonder!!!

I think any school could win if they went out and recruited. If Gate City does that, then what's wrong with us getting exchange students?? I'm not worrying about what they say....especially now that I know they recruit from other states to get their talent.
