IMO the final 2 weeks will tell how good JIB is without Coleman. Could be a rough wake up for some fans.

Clintwood can't match speed with JIB...but they can run right at em on O and keep em in front of em on D...CW has a shot.

    Re: JIB/CW

Clintwood always gives Burton a good game. Two years ago was probably the best game I have been to at Burton, Clintwood and Burton both deserved to win that one. You hated to see either team lose that night.

I am dreading this one, for a few reasons. It's hard to get a good read on Clintwood. They are definitely inconsistent this year. But one can never under estimate their opponent, it always comes back to bite you in the butt.

    Re: JIB/CW

The Clintwood/Burton series is one of the most close, hard to judge the outcome of games in the region every year. Records usually have nothing to do with anything. It's a great series but a lot of the little kiddies on here can't think of anything more than a year or two ago. I'm glad that folks like myself, Shoe, UTVols2, Counts, Rock, Mega, yourself, and a couple others understand this and respect the game and have lived it.

    Re: JIB/CW

Both of these teams bear the same characteristics of past teams for the respective schools...but the mental edge has changed recently. The difference in the football philosophies prevalent in each of the teams is what makes this unpredictable.
