A win by GC would actually help PV more cuz of the difference in win points vs. loss points figured in the power points. But, PV and Lebanon would get the same amount from GC.

The biggest thing is if GC loses and Lee beats VaHigh and Haysi then GC will miss the playoffs for the 2nd year in a row

I feel awkward even thinking there is a possibility that GC may miss playoffs for 2 years in a row.

I agree.... Last year they fell apart but this year they are a VERY good team It MAY be time for the region to expant the playoffs to 6 teams (I still think 8 is to many)

8 is too many, but look at basketball now, and what I believe Region C is doing and allowing all teams to compete at regions.

I said this last year, have 2 "wildcard" teams so to speak. 6 teams make playoffs in D1 and D2. Top 2 teams in power points get a first round bye, let the other 4 decide which belong in the playoffs.

Like this year, Lebanon and PV get first round byes, GC, Lee, Honaker, and JJK or Va High whichever has more points have 2 "play in" games. That way no one can say they got screwed, cause Battle don't deserve to make the playoffs and neither does whoever has less points between Va High and JJK. In D1 I guess Burton and Appy would get byes, then let Clintwood, Haysi, St Paul, and Castlewood earn their spots with "play in" games.
