Re: uva-wise
We left during the 4th quarter because it was 35-17 and we figured the Cavs had the game wrapped up. The other team just wasn't doing a whole lot.
After the game, we went up to Tops'N'Bottoms to look around and when we came back out, on the radio we found out they had actually lost the game in overtime. None of us could believe it.. we never expected them to even come close, but to actually WIN? Holy cow.

Re: uva-wise
from what the radio said, cumberlands had 80 rushes for over 300 yards, they ran something like 107 total plays to cvc's 70 some, cvc rushed for 60 some yards on 20 some carries! it is not all the defense and special teams fault, some of it not all, if you cant run time off the clock with a big lead u deserve to lose!

Cumberland ran an option play every running play to one side or the other. It's just sad to let one play put up those types of numbers and they never made any adjustments that could stop it.

bc74 is right. That's all they ran was a triple option, or a QB choice from shotgun. UVa-Wise never made any adjustments (at least that I could see) to stop it. The secondary looked a little better, but let a few big passes slip through.
UVaWise just could not capitalize when they needed to.
