Haysi trails Lee by 20 in the 3rd, so it looks like they meet again next week at Cummins.
The sad part is that the Dawgs get to travel over into Wave territory next Saturday to get raped for a second time in a row by the same exact team that raped them tonight.

sup-rbeast, Haysi is far and away a better team than Appy. It pains me to say that but it's true.

Until Haysi plays and beats someone worth a damn in the regular season, I'll take the Dawgs. After losing their QB, they aren't the same team. It would be like Clintwood losing theirs and trying to get ready for a more talented team...Doesn't matter now tho cuz that stellar schedule has just bitten the Tigers in the ol a$$..
...And if you ain't down with that, I got 2 words for ya....
It has nothing to do with tonight. I'm talking about the season. I know that Haysi plays a schedule that a jv team could have a winning record with, but they're not a bad team. There aren't any good teams around here anymore. Just a couple decent ones, a bunch of mediocre ones, and a hell of a lot of bad ones. Haysi is much more physical and just harder to defend. Their schedule alone makes it easy for me to pull against them getting in the playoffs, but they'd be much better competition for anyone in D1 than Appy this year.

HAHA, I thought I was the only one crazy enough about football to put up a play by play. Wonder why the Appy coaches went away from an offense that got them 200 yards in the first half last year? Maybe we outsmarted ourself. See ya next week.
To show just how poorly Appalachia played tonight, I went to CalPreps.com and matched them up against Clintwood. Here's what I got:
Clintwood (VA) 26, Appalachia (VA) 24
Wow. Talk about being MAJORLY off.
Also, is it just me or did Appalachia - from the lame team intro (no music when going down the steps? What the f*** is up with that?) to the very end of the game - seem 100% unfocused, unmotivated, and as if they didn't even want to be out there?
It was like watching a bunch of zombies in football pads and uniforms. They played with absolutely no emotion it seemed.

Lee just beat Haysi by 3 TDs..and that speaks volumes to me. I think Clintwood beats Appy again next week...BUT, I'd say you'll see a totally different game plan than you have seen from Appy all year.
