Spudster, did you get to go to the game (It was hard for me to see the senior night stuff from where I was at)? What about next week?

    Re: appy-cwood

...and PV struggled with Lee. It was a close game and from what I heard on the way home, Haysi's qb/rb (someone) might have gotten hurt in the 3rd (????) when the game was 21-14. Lee's had Haysi's # the last two years either way. You can't use that argument either or it kills your Auburn arguments after losing to USF. What exactly can they do gameplan-wise?

Leedy (#30) and Ireson (#20) are just about all they have offensively with Richardson out at QB, and their defense is about as bad as you can get, both defending against the run and pass.

They can't rely on passing the ball because their line doesn't block worth anything and they have a very young and inexperienced QB in to replace Richardson. Poor decisions are the last thing you want in a playoff game when everything is on the line.

All they can do is rely on Leedy and Ireson to do the job (on offense), and if that doesn't work, it's another Bulldog massacre.

Their schedule is atrocious. They should try to schedule WCCS.

    Re: appy-cwood

The PV-Lee game was close for a 2 TD game...not close as in a close game, just for a 2 TD game. SFU just flat outhustled AU and wanted that game...AU hadn't jelled yet, but it isn't an excuse..they lost. I don't think Lee has gotten any better since week 1 tho. After looking at Haysi's schedule, what was their signature win?..JJK?

I'd be embarrassed to brag about 7 wins and then have to show someone that schedule...lol

    Re: appy-cwood

I agree with Appy playing with no heart....I was sitting on the concrete at the doghouse...and when they was near..its like appy was running in slow-mo...anyone have ne rushing stats for appy besides the long run by #35 whomever that is...I didn't see nething that gained them more then 10 yards..

but congrats to the greenwave..and we'll do this again next weekend..

Well, it certainly wasn't Tug Valley, even though they went 6-4. Here are the teams they defeated:

    Montcalm 1-9
    PikeView 0-10
    Williamson 6-4
    Hurley, VA 3-7
    Hannan 1-9
    Burch 0-10

Montcalm defeated Burch for their only win, while Hannan defeated Montcalm for their sole victory. Take away those two teams meeting the two other and you more than likely have four winless teams defeated by Tug Valley (out of their six wins).

    Re: appy-cwood

Damn...outside of the 2 out of state pansies they played, the best team they beat was Kelly. Give it some time tho and listen to folks start to wonder how they went 7-3 and got left at home during the playoffs while St. Paul got in...lol
