Bush has looked a little better IMO. Braylon Edwards had a heckua TD catch in the Browns/Jets game.

Re: Saints-Cards

If Leinart could make a throw without the WR having to make a circus catch, they could move the ball better....but 9 times out of 10 the WR can't get extra yards cuz they have to make a spectacular catch just to get what they can.
...And if you ain't down with that, I got 2 words for ya....

they should scrap the leinart project and play kurt warner. leinart is more interested in split-tail that football.

Ya'll pray for me and my sorry luck ok?
When I heard the word that the J-E-T-S were dropping Chad Pennington like a used rubber,I thought to myself "100 bucks says we'll snag him",and of couse my Fins are indeed pursuing him. He'd fit right in line with the long line of disasters that have feebly failed at filling just 1/10 of Dan's shoes

Re: Saints-Cards

Under Parcell's influence, Pennington could flourish...but my money says he ends up in Minnesota. Gotta realize, the Fins may never have another QB as good as Marino...only 5-6 teams have ever had one as good or better.

Re: Saints-Cards

Pennington's shoulder is just gone. He can't throw the ball over 30 yards. Pennington was a solid QB before the 2 shoulder injuries.

Re: Saints-Cards

I think he can still be productive with some protection. Reports are he was #1 in Jets camp and looking good...so we'll see.

Re: Saints-Cards

He's a smart QB, but to me he is a #2 now for a competitive team. I am a Pennington fan, and have been since his days at Marshall. I think it would be a good idea for a team like Miami or Atlanta to bring him in to help the younger guys though.
