ESPN announced Phillip Fulmer is stepping down tomorrow.

Taking a job with FEMA because of his ability to evacuate 100K people in 3 hrs!!!!

People were leaving the stadium the other day before the 3rd quarter was over.

I'm surprised Tennessee fans haven't raised a bigger stink before now. It's gonna get worse in the next few weeks I'm afraid.

Phil's strength is that he was good with parents, convincing them that he would be there to help their kid. Thats great, except recent history hasn't proven that, and most parents dont care if someone treats their kids great at the level or not, they are just hopeful the kid goes pro and they can retire [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif[/img]

I think they should really move Phil into a nice PR type job at UT, let him be a presence to help with parents and such but not coach.

I have been saying for at least 5 years he needs to go. Just gets tiring watching a game and being able to call the play before the ball is snapped and be right 95% of the time.
