    Re: Points

I think PV went ahead by 3...157-154. PV should probably be rooting for Floyd Co. over Giles, Monday, and a Lee High win over Va High next week, along with some help from the Richlands, Burton, TW, and Kelly group. To outpoint Lebanon, here's what I came up with....Maybe counts or someone will see something different.

Of course, Tazewell needs to beat Lebanon and Honaker...given there. And I doubt either Clintwood or PV loses. Now assuming all that...then:

If Floyd beats Giles and Lee beats Va High, then PV needs and Richlands and TW win or one of those two to win and either Kelly or Burton to.

If Floyd beats Giles, and Va High wins, then they need Richlands and TW to win and either a Kelly or Burton win.

If Giles beats Floyd and Lee wins, then they need a Richlands and TW win or one of those to win and both Burton and Kelly winning.

If Giles and Va High win, then PV needs a win from all 4.

    Re: Points

I am not doing a compleat breakdown till I get current updated Power Points and so far they have not been.......

That being said TW has the inside track and the games for next week seem to favor TW.....

BTW the current ruls have Powerpoints as the 1st tie breaker with Head to head being the 2nd tie breaker

I don't have the updated points yet BUT I am 95% sure that is what it looked like last week barring any upsets

    Re: Points

OK going by the point provided by fighting hokey
    <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body"> X (8-1) Gate City - 208pts / 23.1
    (7-2) J.J. Kelly - 183pts / 20.3
    (4-5) Powell Valley - 157pts / 17.4
    (6-3) Lebanon - 154pts / 17.1
    (4-5) Honaker - 144pts / 16.0
    (3-6) VA. High - 136pts / 15.1
    (2-6) Lee High - 108pts / 13.5
    (0-9) John Battle - 80pts / 8.9</div></div>

PV with 157 Points SHOULD beat Appr gaining 18 points Plus

From Lee 0-4 (Va High and Haysi left and will probably be the underdog in both games)

Lebanon 0-1 (A win over Tazwell is unlikly but it will be required for Lebanon to outpoint PV)

Richlands 0-2 (Mark down 2 point here as Grundy is hopeless)

Burton 0-1 (PV lost to both Burton and GC so between the 2 games 1 point is a guarentee no matter what else happens

Clintwood 0-1 (A win over Pound is all but a done deal)

TW 0-2 (I think TW should be a heave Fav vs St Paul)

Kelly 0-2 (The game vs Haysi is IMHO to close to call)

GC 0-1 (see the burton game)

Pound 0-2 (I do not see points comeing from here

    Bringing there total to 178 - 189

Lebanon Is at 154 with a win over Tazwell plus 36 with a loss plus 17

(A Win over Tazwell will bring there total to 190 BEFORE rider points makeing them a sure thing for the #3 spot and giveing Wise a run for there money for the #2 spot)

    Rider points

Honaker 0-2 (Should be a heavy underdog vs Tazwell but Lebanon could pick up an extra point with a honaker win

    PV-0-2 (Win over Appy)

    GC 0-1 (vs Burton)

    Clintwood 0-1 (vs pound)

Northwood 0-2 (They play Battle so Lebanon will be getting 2 points from someone in that game)

Giles 0-2 ( Games vs Floid and east Montgomery)

VHS -0-2 (They play Lee and Lebanon will be getting 2 points from someone)

Lee 0-4 (see VHS + Game vs Haysi)

    Battle 0-2 (see Northwood)

    Bringing there total to 175 - 182

My best guess has PV finishing with 181 and Leb with 179

    Re: Points

Kelly COULD take #1 from Gate City, but a lot would have to happen, starting eith Grundy beating Richlands.

PV isn't a lock yet... even with a win, since Lebanon & Honaker would get major points for their wins.

    Re: Points

I may be wrong, but I don't see many of Honaker's opponents that they beat giving them a whole lot. And, Lebanon may beat Tazwell, but Honaker won't. Basically, the PV win over Richlands is gonna put them in the playoffs.
...And if you ain't down with that, I got 2 words for ya....

Burton would need their 3 to have 2 more wins than Clintwood's 3 to take the #1 seed. </div></div>

I am comeing up with a 5 point differance What do you have as each teams currant powerpoints (I may be starting with bad numbers)

    Clintwood 222 + 22 for a win over Pound = 244
    JIB 204 + 32 fro a win over GC = 236
    makeing an 8 point differance

Clintwood would get 2 points for a Burton win over GC and Burton would get 1 point from a Clintwood win over Pound

    9 point differance

RC, Honaker, TW can only makeup 6 of those points even if Haysi, Lebanon, and Lebanon pick up 0 points for Clintwood

Now if Clintwood loses the game vs Pound all bets are off
