How the hell do you know? </div></div>
Because they suck

But on the flip side the Vols have lost something. I bet he goes somewhere and turns a program around. </div></div>
Fulmer won't coach anywhere else. The university will keep him on in some capacity.

Agreed.
Kiffin was the main recruiter for USC and a lot of the players at USC right now are guys he helped bring in.
I'm not his biggest fan but he seems to be everything that we want in a coach...young, good recruiter, and knows how to run an offense. I mean if you look at how the Raiders have fallen apart since he left, it looks like he was headed in the right direction.
He may not have a lot of head coaching experience, but if he didnt take the job in Oakland he would have still been a head coach somewhere....

Feel sorry for the guy. that school is all he has known.
150-51 - not bad at all. Just an old philosophy in a new game.
Lots of folks will disagree, but the place will come to rue the day they let him go. I am as anti-Fulmer as it gets, but it was what 50 yrs UT went from winning National Title #1 and #2? It may very well be 50 more before they get another (if ever) IMO.

you feel sorry for him?
hes getting paid $6mil to pack his [censored] on top of the 2.4mil hes making this year
he hasnt earned a paycheck in about 7 years yet hes been paid handsomely
Money doesn't run everything my friend.
If you told me I could have a job doing something I hated and being rich, or taking a job i love and being just okay i take the job i love.
And Fulmer loved UT. He put his whole heart and soul into that school and program.
Six million dollars isn't gonna fix his peace of mind and just everything else about him. Doesn't help the way he went out either.
If you can watch that and not feel sorry for the guy, you need to get your head out your ass.
also he's been to the SEC title game three times in the past eight years. Not a complete waste of money.
