I became a fan when Joe Theisman was the man (before the horrifying leg injury). My Uncle was a Redskins fan and we watched the games together. He passed away of cancer when he was 20 and I was 12. I guess they have sentimental value, it's hard for me not to root for them.

And you are correct, about the hoggettes- but this guy looked alot the same in the face, just gray hair .
