I can't believe that before the NBA playoffs began,I heard an analyst on ESPN say that the greatest threat to the Lakers in the West was the Utah Jazz. These first two games have been laughers. I know that Utah is tough at home,but the Lakers are clearly bigger,faster,and stronger. Shannon Brown has been a heckuva pleasant surprise (he was just the toss-in on the Adam Morrison trade). I can't help but think Kobe vs LeBron for the ring this year.

nobody is even gonna come close to the lakers, but if anybody does it will be the rockets i think.

denver, if they dont choke, can give LA a great series, they are very very underrated, chauncey is great.

and the east, it looks like cleveland will walk thru, but dont sleep on atlanta.

I thought the biggest threat would come from the Blazers. LA hasn't exactly burned it up in Portland as of late. Actually, they haven't done that well at Utah either. Sure the Lakers have won the first two games by double digits, 13 and 10 respectively, but the Jazz have been in both games up to near the end. If the Lakers don't turn up the defensive intensity, it's very possible this series could go the distance.
