Punt?

We ran the ball effectively,have a very good Offensive Line,and B.I. is an O-line guy. You can question it all you want,but he was thinking that we could get it,and ballgame over. Thank goodness we won it anyway,so it's a mute argument.

Kelly quick kicked us, if I remember right (don't hold me to that right now, I'm dead) but if they did, they did well with that.

Ahhh in worked out ok for them so no big deal in the end.

yeah its a moot point now, i would have done it different, but im not jjk's coach, and they just pulled off a great win.

but i guarantee if jib scores, the wise fans all have a collective stroke lol

I actually agree with the decision JJK made. In that situation if you punt it A.) Burton has speed and could possibly return it for a td. B.) get a good return which defeats the purpose of punting or C.) bad snap which would give Burton the ball around the 5 yard line. Since he went for it, it gives you a slim chance to keep the ball and run more clock. Lets say they didnt get the first but still moved the ball a few yards, thats about the same as a decent punt. Now, if this was college or NFL, you punt it every time. High school punters just do not have the legs needed to kick it far enough to make it worth it.
But, yea if they didnt get the first everyone would have complained and said it was stupid. JJK did get the first down so you can say a genious decision or just dumb luck either way it worked out for them.
