I have a couple reasons

Linland has world class wrestling, and his submission defense is top notch.

Only two people have submitted Lindland, Fedor and Bustamante from 2002.

He has fought guys like Ricardo Almedia, Fedor, Rampage Jackson, Pat Miletech, Van Arsdale, FEDOR, Vitor Belfort, Bustamante, Carlos Newton, Jeremy Horn, etc.

I see Lindland staying out of the subs and winning a decision.

Jacare has fought two tough guys, Mousasi and Mayhem. He lost to Mousasi, and beat Mayhem by DQ

Its a very tough decision, and I laid it out like this;

Striking=Even. Neither one has great stand up.
Wrestling=Lindland, by a lot.
BJJ=Jacare, by a lot.
Experience=Lindland

So I still say Lindland by decision.

haha its not that, i just think that Lindland is too craft and too experienced to be tapped by Jacare.

but Souza has awesome BJJ, knowing my luck Lindland will go in and get tapped in a minute

Lindland is a baddass, he has lost fighting above his weight a few times. People seeing Vitor drop him may have influenced them into underrating him. I think 7 outta 10 times Linland would have won that fight
