Our best team of 09/10 will take the field next week, we have a chance to split/win the LPD in all 3 major male sports. Good year for PV Athletics, if half our district games aren't run rule games I'll be dissapointed. Jug/Lucas/Kenny should be darn solid on the mound, we should mash at the plate also. Put the ball in play and watch people boot it, it's the name of the game around here. Props to JW for scheduling some people out of the LPD, the Coeburn game next week should be interesting, it's a rematch of last years regional quarters.

i would absolutely love to see pv baseball go far this year, good group of pitchers, cant wait for the season.

Hopefully they can, I think the pressure is much higher on this group than the basketball group. Baseball is mostly upper class kids (except Jug) and this is their last opportunity.

It might be the PV seniors last chance but they have had really good jv teams the past couple years too. the district will be a two team race for the next 4 or 5 years with JJ Kelly. Kelly's jv team hasn't been that strong recently.

I'm looking forward to seeing what type of product Burton puts on the field after losing Shupe.

Heard Kelly will be tough because they got some kids from Gate City, John Battle & Coeburn that are filling the line up nice for them.

Heard they won thats about all I know. Like most scrimmages everybody played, hard to get a real feel for how either team will be especially with the weather around here.
