    17-4

Heckuva streak for the Bravos as they beat Philly again and push their lead to 1 1/2. Who would have thought that just a few weeks ago. 7 game win streak for Atlanta.

    Re: 17-4

Next 15 games are huge for Atlanta. Obviously they finish up with Philly tomorrow but then they have a stretch that includes stops in LA and Minnesota. The Braves then return home to face the Rays. June is always a fun month in baseball, it makes and breaks a lot of teams. It's not early anymore.

    Re: 17-4

Ive got to say Troy Glaus has been proving me wrong from what I said earlier in the season. But one reason was because I wanted Hinske in the lineup too and that has worked out by playing him in LF. The Braves are leading by a 1 1/2 games and havent even gotten a win from Jurrjens or Kawakami yet.

Me too Stripes, if I ever see that guy in person I am gonna apologize to him for all the bad things I said about him, and there were A LOT. I, like yourself, wanted Hinske in the lineup and now that everyone in the outfield other than a guy named Heyward has sucked a huge tit this year, he will be starting against all righties the rest of the year. Heck as bad as McLouth and Cabrera are playing I say leave him in against lefties too because it can't get much worse. I say give Gregor Blanco a chance at Center because it can't be much of a drop off from McClouth other than power. I can't wait til we get JJ back, then I say let Medlen and Kawakami battle for #5 spot with the other taking long relief duties.

    I love Hinske...... :2thumbsup:

Hinske will play against most lefties too, but when he needs a day off that is who it will come against too though. Im still thinking McLouth will come out of it. Maybe not though.

EPIC!!!! Maybe it's not the 80's all over again!!! Giving Bobby Cox a little something extra special for his final season!
Looking for my Darcy, but finding only Wickham. Right now, I'd settle for Bingley.

If you and I start ragging on him like we did Glaus at the beginning of the year he may just be an All-Star in June.
